अष्टावक्र गीता - भावपद्यानुवाद (उनसठवीं कड़ी)

                                     उन्नीसवां अध्याय (१९.०१-१९.०४)                                                                                                       (With English connotation)

जनक कहते हैं :

King Janak says :

गुरु से तत्व ज्ञान को सुन कर, हुई शान्ति शिष्य के मन को|

तत्व-ज्ञान की चिमटी द्वारा, है दूर किया विकल्प कंटक को|| (१९.१)

After listening to the knowledge of truth, I have

attained the peace of mind. By the tweezer of

the knowledge of truth, the thorns of endless

alternatives have been removed from my heart. (19.1)

अपनी महिमा में स्थित मुझको, धर्म कहाँ है, काम कहाँ है?

अर्थ, विवेक न स्थित मुझ में, कहाँ द्वैत, अद्वैत कहाँ है? (१९.२)

For me, who is established in the grace of Self,

there is neither righteousness nor desire, neither

 possession nor discretion, neither duality nor

even non-duality. (19.2)

भूत, भविष्य व वर्त्तमान है, न समय, देश अस्तित्व दृष्टि में|

नित्य मैं स्थित स्व-महिमा में, मुझे एक सब आत्म-दृष्टि में|| (१९.३)

There is no existence of past, present, future,

time or space for me, who is established in the

grace of Self. (19.3)

अपनी महिमा में स्थित मुझको, कहाँ आत्म, अनात्म कहाँ है?

कहाँ अशुभ या शुभ है मुझको, चिंता या चिंता-मुक्ति कहाँ है? (१९.४)

There is no Self or non-Self, no good or evil and

no worry or absence of it for me, who is established

in the grace of Self. (19.4)
