(With English connotation)

The wise man is neither happy nor sad, is neither
attached nor detached, is neither seeking liberation
nor is liberated, and is neither something nor
nothing. (18.96)

He is not distracted in distraction and is not meditating
in meditation. He is not stupid in stupidity and is not
wise in wisdom. (18.97)

The wise man, who is established in Self, is always
satisfied. Maintaining equanimity and devoid of
any greed, he does not remember the acts done
by him. (18.98)

He is neither happy with his praise nor upset when
blamed. He is not afraid of death nor attached to
life. (18.99)

He neither runs for crowded places, nor is
attracted by forests. He remains in a tranquil
state in whatever conditions he exists. (18.100)

Whether king or beggar, one who is free from
desire and maintains equanimity in good or bad
acts, excels in life. (18.91)

For the Yogi who is simple and guileless, there is
neither dissolute behaviour nor virtue. Even the
discrimination of truth has no meaning for him. (18.92)

Who can describe the pleasure of the person, who
is satisfied being established in self and is free from
pleasure and pain. (18.93)

The wise man, who is contented in all circumstances,
is not sleeping even when asleep, is not awakened
even when awake and does not dream even when
dreaming. (18.94)

The Yogi is free from thought even when thinking,
is without senses among senses, is without
understanding even while understanding every
thing and is devoid of any sense of responsibility

even when endowed with ego. (18.95)
