रहित-वासना सिंह पुरुष को, देख विषय हाथी छुप जाते|
गज विषयों की एक न चलती, वे उसके सेवक बन जाते|| (१८.४६)
Seeing the
desireless man like lion, the elephants
of senses run away
and if they are not able to
do so, they
surrender and serve him as servant. (18.46)
स्थिर मन, निशंक ज्ञानी है, न मुक्ति उपायों का हठ करता|
लोकदृष्टि सब कर्म है करते, आत्मानंद में स्थिर वह रहता|| (१८.४७)
The one who is
established in self and is free from
doubts, does not
make strenuous efforts for
liberation. Even
while doing all the acts of senses,
he remains at
peace and established in his self. (18.47)
तत्वरूप के श्रवण मात्र से, चिंता रहित है ज्ञानी होता|
अनाचार आचार उदासी, इन कर्मों से वह मुक्त है होता|| (१८.४८)
The one, whose mind is
carefree and undisturbed,
merely by hearing
the Truth, is free from doing
all acts as he
does not find anything to do or not
to do or even for
indifference. (18.48)
जो स्वभाव में स्थित ज्ञानी, बालक सम वह कार्य है करता|
शुभ या अशुभ कर्म जो आता, बाल सुलभ प्रयास से करता|| (१८.४९)
The one who is straightforward does, like a child,
whatever act, good
or bad, is presented before him. (18.49)
स्वतंत्रता से सुख मिलता है, परमतत्व भी प्राप्त है होता|
स्वतंत्रता से शांति है मिलती और परमपद प्राप्त
है होता|| (१८.५०)
By inner freedom
one attains happiness and also
realises the
Supreme. By inner freedom one
achieves eternal
peace and ultimate state. (18.50)
